No one injured in rollover near Sooke

The car ended up onto its roof and down an embankment Friday afternoon

Traffic on Sooke Road was slow Friday afternoon after one motorist lost control and flipped their car into a ditch.

Police say no one was injured when a white two-door car went down an embankment near the 17-Mile Pub just after 3 p.m..

Sooke Fire Rescue officials had initial concerns about leaking fuel, but the car has since been towed away.

Rain began to fall early Friday afternoon that may have contributed to slick roads in the area.

The driver of the car was the only occupant and was uninjured.
