West Shore RCMP continues to investigate three assaults reported Oct. 14, after an Oct. 20 plea to the public identified two youth suspects.

Police initially responded to a call at the 7-Eleven on Jacklin Road, across from an Esso station, for a report of intoxicated youth aged 13-18, that were threatening customers, RCMP said in a release. Police say two customers were punched before the suspects left.

While officers were on scene, they were alerted to a stabbing at the gas station. A man there told police he was hit with a baton and stabbed once in the upper body. He was taken to the hospital where his injuries are still being assessed.

All three victims are believed to have no connections to the youth.

RCMP released images of two youth suspects on Oct. 20, and later that day both were identified.

West Shore RCMP later removed images of the youth and thanked the media and public for their help.
