Saanich police are looking for assistance in a hit-and-run case that has left a 20-year-old man with non-life-threatening injuries.

Sgt. Julie Fast of the Saanich Police said a vehicle struck the man at around 9 p.m., Monday, Feb. 18 while he walked along Admirals Road near Murray Drive.

“A neighbour heard a thump and when she looked outside, saw the man walking southbound on Admirals Road,” said Fast. Crews transported the man to hospital, where he received treatment for non-life threatening injuries.

At this time, police have no information about the driver and vehicle, and are asking for any witnesses or people with information to call the Saanich Police at 250-475-4321 or 1-800-222- 8477 if they wish to remain anonymous.
