UPDATE: Missing man found ‘safe and sound‘

A man reported last seen on May 30 or June 3 in the Port Renfrew area has been located.

Blaze Lupton, 30 has been found and he is safe and sound, West Shore RCMP Cpl. Alex Berube said in June 8 media release.

RCMP issued an alert on June 7 looking for Lupton, 6’1” with shoulder-length hair and a long red beard, who was last seen May 31 on the Pacific Marine Road near Lizard Lake in Port Renfrew. There was also a possibility that he was seen in that community on June 3, and police said at that time that he may have headed for Sombrio Beach towing a blue and white cooler.

Berube thanked the media and the public for their assistance in locating Lupton.
