Sooke traffic snarled after rollover

Driver sustained minor injuries after losing control of vehicle

  • Oct. 13, 2016 9:00 a.m.

Sooke Fire Rescue and Sooke RCMP responded to Sooke Road after a Toyota van rolled over near the corner of Sooke Road and Gillespie Road.

The driver, who was the sole occupant and only driver involved, sustained minor head injuries, said Sooke RCMP Const. John Treen.

Treen added that driver was travelling too fast for the wet conditions presently on the roads and lost control of her vehicle.

Traffic remained one-lane only until emergency crews cleared the area.
