The District of Sooke’s annual report is now available for the public.
An annual report is an overview of how a municipality has performed over the course of a year, featuring the accomplishments it’s achieved, progress it has made on municipal projects, financial statements, and a list of tax exemptions.
It also includes how municipal services and operations are doing, such as the Sooke RCMP, Sooke Fire Rescue, and development, financial and corporate services.
“The annual report is an opportunity to reflect upon the success of the past and look forward to achieving our goals in the years to come,” said Sooke Mayor Maja Tait.
The annual report can be viewed online on the DOS website, or people can also get hard copies from staff upon request.
