UPDATED: Power restored for thousands of Colwood households

Power expected to return by 1 p.m.

More than 3,500 Colwood residences are without power Monday morning as BC Hydro works to investigate the cause.

The 3,597 affected customers live east of Braeburn Avenue, south of Kelly Road and North of Citadel Place. They have been without power since 6:49 a.m. this morning.

Power was restored by 2 p.m., according to BC Hydro.
