Tour de Rock rides into Sooke

Sooke responds generously to Cops for Cancer fundraising campaign

The Cops for Cancer riders rode into Sooke on October 2 and came to Journey middle school to meet the local fundraisers. Local rider Terry Curry was among the wet and weary Tour de Rock team. Heads were shaved and money raised in the thousands of dollars for the annual ride which allows children recovering from cancer to go to summer camp. Funds are also used for research into childhood cancers.
