Travel advisories have been lifted for Vancouver Island, according to Drive BC, with all major roads reported as bare and wet.

Main routes in Greater Victoria, including the Trans-Canada Highway and the Pat Bay Highway, are clear, though some left hand turn lanes, acceleration lanes and on/off ramps may be slushy.

Though the snowfall warning has ended for the region, accumulated snow is still on the ground on some side roads.

Police are asking residents to use extra caution on the roadways as melting snow and slushy conditions can make driving even more difficult.
