TRACEY, BLAKE HERBERT
Born April 9, 1933 - Passed Away on March 19, 2007
Blake passed away peacefully at the age of 73 and has joined his loving
wife Pudgy. He will be lovingly remembered by his step-daughters Anne
(Blair) and Donna (Dave) and his four grandchildren who knew him as
PaPa, Stephanie, Cameron, Sandy and Danny. His brothers Gerald (Gisela), Guy (Myrna) and his sisters Bernadine (Max), Jean (Hank, deceased) and Verna (Arthur). Blake was a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force where he learned his trade as an aircraft technician. He took his trade and
worked for Viking Air for many years then completed his career with
Vancouver Island Helicopter. We are extremely grateful for the care
given to Blake at the Saanich Peninsula Hospital by Dr. George and all
the nurses on ECU #1. Because of their exceptional care, we will always
be grateful.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. John's The Baptist Church in
Colwood BC. To get there, Sooke road, turn right on Mount View, right
on Yeta Terrace, left on Glenn Cairn, April 19, 2007 at 2:00 pm followed
by refreshments in the hall. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations in
Blake's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
