Clarence Daniel "Barney" Wilson

Barney Wilson passed away May 2, 2008 in Monroe, WA, after a long and full life. He was born March 18, 1926 in Shelton, WA, the second of ?ve children, to Pierce & Margaret Wilson. Barney lived the vast majority of his life in the Paci?c NW, including Vancouver Island, British Columbia. A proud, 40 year, Gold Card carrying member of the Carpenters Union, Barney worked as hard as he played. Along with his family, his passion was spending time on his boat in Puget Sound, the San Juan Islands and the East coast of Vancouver Island. A special “Thank You” from his children goes out to their Dad for teaching them all the little things in life that didn’t mean much at the time, but proved to be invaluable later in life.

Barney is survived by his wife Raverna “Vera” Wilson of Sultan, WA, son Steve (Peravena) Wilson of Olympia, WA, son Rod (Prudence) Wilson of Ladysmith, British Columbia, daughter Kim (Robert) Humphries of Oroville, WA and son Scott (Darci) Wilson of Marysville, WA. He is also survived by sister Peggy (Lorne) Tomalty of Malahat, BC, brother John (Audrey) Wilson, brother Jim (Denise) Wilson, brother Bill Wilson, all of Sooke, BC, nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and his Miniature Schnauzer “Doc”.

A celebration of Barney’s life will be held at a later date, to be announced. In lieu of ?owers, donations in Barney’s name may be made to North Valley Hospital/ Nursing Home Foundation at 22 West 1st Street, Tonasket, WA 98855 Attn: Judy Gladden.
