Dad had a long (101 yrs.) and full life. He loved the outdoors and spent as much time as possible hunting and fishing.
The Chilcotin Country is where he gravitated to for both. Always with his family and friends. Over the years he took his camper and later the fifth-wheel from Alaska to the Mexican U.S. border. There were many stories to tell about those trips with Mom.
When at home he was in the vegetable garden or tending the tomatoes in the greenhouse. Later in life he enjoyed Steak Night and Crib at the Legion and his morning coffee with friends at the A&W. All the while planning and looking forward to the next trip — moose hunting season.
He was 97 yrs. on his last trip with his son Ted.
In 1963 Mom and Dad had their house built on Church Road and he was there until just a month ago. We will miss his presence in our lives but know that he was ready for his next journey.
He was predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Sybil; his father Ted; his mother Frances; sisters Velma and Ruth; brother Walt.
He leaves behind his brothers Cliff and Bob and sister Shirley. Also his children Ted (Judy), Velma and Darla and their families.
Dad would like to be remembered by everyone in their own way.
