It is with very sad hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our mom Freda in her home at Glenidle by the Sea on August 31,2016 with both of her daughters by her side. Very loved and greatly missed by daughters Janet Weaver and Anne Froh, 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren as well as family in England and France, and many friends in the Sooke area.
Predeceased by our dad Kenneth in 1991. Mom was born in Bingley, Yorkshire, England and our family immigrated to Canada in 1957.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation for the kind and compassionate care our mom received from Beacon Community Services home care nurses, Dr. Robin Saunders; and from the Sooke Hospice Volunteers. Special thanks to Carol and Arlene who spent many hours at mom’s side.
