Gail Roxanne Reichert (Wilkes) went to her loving LORDS arms on May 4, 2023, she passed away at Victoria General Hospital, after a brave battle with cancer. Gail resided in Sooke, B.C.
Gail was born Sunday, March 28, 1954, at Holy Cross Hospital, Calgary, Alberta. Daughter of Bruce Douglas Wilkes and Vivian Edna Wilkes (Kells).
Gail had a zest for life, teaching as a profession and into her personal life; she shared with others her love of the LORD. Gail participated in many activities, including quilting, hiking, pickleball, photography, ukulele, the arts, gardening and an avid reader and loved her dogs. She loved to help others when the opportunity arose and gladly shared her knowledge of many subjects with others when asked.
Gails was predeceased by her parents: Bruce Douglas Wilkes and Vivian Edna Hampshire (Wilkes-Kells). and her stepdad Jack William Hampshire. She will be greatly missed by her loving sister: Dianne Vinet (Neil), nieces: Meaghan Vinet, Erin Koschewski (Drae) and Nephew Malcolm Vinet.
She will also be dearly missed by numerous cousins and friends.
Gail's memorial service will be held June 24, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Sooke Baptist Church, 7710 West Coast Road, Sooke B.C. V9Z-0S1 website: sookebaptistchurch.com
