It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Glen Chwojka after a brief but fierce fight with cancer at 57 on Aug 26, 2020. He is survived by the love of his life Zandra, Sisters Karen & Yvonne. Predeceased by his parents Amy & Fred.
Glen was a man who lived life to the fullest and had many things that he loved to do. The biggest one was fishing both fresh & saltwater. Many a person enjoyed the fruits of this pursuit. Other things he enjoyed were motorbike riding, quading, "collecting antiques," exploring new & old places. Work at Schnitzer Steel (Budget Steel) for the last 30 years. Glen took great pleasure at destroying vehicles and other metal items for recycling. A friend to too many people to count.
You could always be sure that Glen would always be there to lend a hand or burn it for you in one of his famous bonfires. Glen was a "Sookie" in his heart & soul & loved his only hometown. He will be missed by so many.
