We are saddened to announce the passing of Hans. He was a good Husband, Father, and Friend. Born in Germany, Hans immigrated to Port Alberni in 1955. Predeceased by his first wife Renate, he is survived by his daughters Dagmar (Drew), Tanja and grandson Keegan. After spending 29 years in Ucluelet they eventually retired to Sooke.
Hans is survived by his wife Hilde. Both spent time serving the community as Jehovah's Witnesses, sharing Bible truths with their neighbors and gaining many friends along the way.
Please join us as we lovingly remember Hans, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2207 Church Road, on Saturday, June 22nd at 2 pm.
