Passed away peacefully on Thursday April 23, 2015 at the age of 82. Beloved mother of Daniel (Cynthia) and Brian McIntyre (Rose). Proud grandma of Andrea, Kendall, Kyle and Easton. Survived by her sister Wynne and predeceased by sisters Eileen, Elsie and brother Bud. Helen was a loving and dedicated mother who always put the needs of her family before her own. She fondly remembered her time in Sooke and the Western Communities and the many friendships she made. Helen will be greatly missed by all who knew her. We would like to thank the many doctors and staff at the Royal Jubilee Hospital; Renal and Cardiac Care Clinics for their exceptional care and support. Visitation will be held at Sands Funeral Chapel-Colwood on Wednesday April 29, 2015 from 1-2 pm. A Graveside Service will be held at Hatley Memorial Gardens, 2050 Sooke Rd. Colwood on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. Reception to follow at Sands Funeral Chapel - Colwood.
