It is with great sadness and regret that we announce the passing of our brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and great-uncle, James Cantillon Ross.
He is predeceased by his parents, Fidelma Colette Cantillon and Harold Aaron Ross, his grand-niece Caitlin Anne, and his niece Kayley. He is survived by his sisters Gillian (Bryan) MacCormack, Vanessa (Martin) Pesle, Emma Ross, and his brother John (Susan) Ross, their children, and grandchildren.
His career in Law took him from Montreal to New York and California. At the end of his life, James worked pro bono in BC Ontario and Quebec.
James will be remembered for his brilliance, eloquence, kindness and support for people in need, and his lifelong love of all things musical.
He will be missed by many.
May he rest in peace.
A private Celebration of Life will be held in late September 2024.
