It is with great sadness we announce that James "Jim" Hoggan passed away July 27, 2022 after a brief health battle.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife Pat 2022, his parents James 1969, Rose 1998, and brother Archie 2012.
He is survived by his sons Andrew and Patrick (Frances), his grandson Sawyer; and many nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Jim was born July 23, 1939 in Trail, BC. He moved with his family to Jordan River, Nanaimo and Victoria where he met and married his wife in 1983, and settled in Sooke to raise their family. Jim worked as Head Chef on CCGS Parizeau until becoming an LPN at Saanich Peninsula Hospital. During retirement, he loved to fish, fix and work on everything and was a mechanic and handyman to his friends, family and others within the Sooke community. Jim loved his family above all else and had a special place in his heart for his Grandson, Sawyer.
