Jean Kranz

October 18, 1945 - August 15, 2018
It is with much sadness that Jean Kranz passed quietly in her 72nd year after a short battle with cancer at Victoria General Hospital; August 15, 2018. Jean originally from Penner; Middelsex; England. Born October 18, 1945 moved to Ontario at the age of 17; where she eventually met and married her husband of 39 years Norbert Kranz. They built their family consisting of three sons; John and twins Robert and James in Midland; Ont.

Jean and Norbert moved to Ladysmith; Vancouver Island; BC in 2007 to enjoy their retiring years. After Norberts passing in 2009; Jean moved to Sooke where she was an active member of the community.

Jean leaves behind many family and friends who loved and cared deeply for her humour and generosity to all she met.

Jean is survived by her sons John (Moira); Robert (Jenny); James. Her grandchildren; Zackary; Jordan; Serena; Kenny; Taylor; Chance. Her brother Ian (Greta) and many family members back home in England.

There will be a Celebration of Life September 29, 2018 from 11-2pm @ the Sooke Legion BR 54. All that knew Jean are welcome to attend.

Our biggest thanks to everyone at the VGH who were able to help Jean in her stay; and to all who have helped us with your strength and healing words with the passing of Mum.
