Keith Douglas Tetz

September 27, 2010

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Keith Tetz on September 27, 2010. Keith passed away quietly in his sleep. Keith had been struggling with a long battle of kidney disease. Keith was born in Calgary and grew up in the community of Greenview when Calgary was a young and vibrant city. Keith loved the outdoors and animals of all kinds. As a young boy he was a member of the Junior Forest Wardens where he spent many weekends camping, observing animals and loving the outdoors. Keith had a passion for people in need of assistance and you would always find him at family gatherings tending to and looking after people that struggled to care for themselves. Keith will be lovingly missed by his life partner, Randy with whom he has been together for the past 25 years. Keith and Randy had lived in Sooke, BC for the past 20 years where they enjoyed the moderate temperatures and everything that comes along with the West Coast lifestyle. Keith was predeceased by his grandfathers, Carl Tetz and Roland Foster and grandmother, Hilda Foster with whom Keith loved dearly. Keith also leaves to mourn his mother - Dorothy, father - Clifford, brother - Bruce (June), sisters Gail (Ken) and Carol (Leroy), nieces Roslyne and Raylene and nephews Brent, Mark, Jeff, Mike, Kelton and Nick. Memorial service to follow and TBA. If friends so desire please make donations to The Kidney Foundation of Canada.
