Dad became a Cub Leader for his sons Kevin and David and enjoyed many more years as ‘Akela’ with the 5th Garry Oak Scouts. Dad was blessed with many years with his friends (including good friends Wayne and Joan Peter’s), family camping, horseback riding and boy did he love to dance! Ken was also an excellent swimmer and spent many early morning hours at his local recreation centres keeping physically fit. In recent years, Ken thoroughly enjoyed his luncheons with Vic West School Alumni, his time spent with his friends at the Sooke Legion and proudly watching his grandchildren play sports. Ken lived life to the fullest and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
