It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, Papa, Larry, of Sooke B.C. He was born in Kingston, Ontario.

He is survived by his loving and caring Wife, Sheila and sons Paul (Cory), Chris (Julie), Dan (Crystal) and his extended family Amber (Trevor), Mandy (Aaron), and Aaron, 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. His brothers Tony (Leslie), Barry, Nick (Monica), of Ontario. Sister, Gloria (Kevin) of Victoria B.C., sister-in-law, Claire and many nieces and nephews.

Larry enlisted in the Navy in 1966 and played the clarinet in the HMCS Naden Band. After leaving the Navy, he worked as a saw filer at the Sooke Saw Mill until his diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease in 1989.

Larry's greatest joys in life were his family, antique cars, playing cards, camping and his great love of music, which he entertained family and friends with his guitar playing and singing. Sheila would like to thank her wonderful family and friends for all their love and support. The way Larry lived with Parkinson's for 30 years was an inspiration to all and he is now at peace.

There will be a Celebration of Life at 7287 Thelmita PL. Otter Pt. Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 2:00- 4:00 p.m.
