On November 6, 2018, Doreen died after a tenacious battle with dementia while surrounded with family.
Predeceased by husband Norm, sons Guy and Kim, and sister Evelyn. Doreen is survived by her son Todd, daughter Angel and sister Leslie Hebenton. Doreen is also survived by her son- in-law Mike Laurence, grandchildren Damien Laurence; Katie, Jesse, and Tory Sigurdson; numerous nieces, nephews and many lifelong friends.
Doreen will be remembered most for her compassionate heart, her witty sense of humour, and her enduring strength.
A heartfelt thankyou to the staff at Regina Pioneer Village and Lumsden Heritage Home for your wonderful and compassionate care of Doreen over the last few years.
