(July 5, 1937- May 11, 2016)


Lora, known by those who love her as Mom, Nana, Great Nana, Sister, Aunty, Lolly, and “My Heart”, passed away gently, surrounded by her loving family and a lovely view.

Lora, beloved wife of Grant Hall, who had the joy of living in her presence for 57 years, was born in Vermilion and touched many lives in the Edmonton area, Crowsnest Pass and Sooke. Lora’s joy of loving and caring for her family was evident in her beautiful smile and her ability to make everyone feel loved and valued. With inner strength and grace, Lora was a wise and positive role model for how to live a beautiful life. Her gentle guidance and warm heart has left a treasured impact on all who knew her. Many cherished memories will live on through Grant, her children, Patty Hall, Nancy (Michael) Montgomery, William Hall (Sandra), grandchildren, Colin, Cheryl, Andy, Liam, great grandchildren, Ryland, Mason, and baby due in Oct, siblings Dave (Linda) Mead, Jim (Phyllis) Mead, Donna (Martin) Ritzema, sister-in-law Geddis(Chuck) Ruttan, and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and cherished friends.
