Mr. Marvin Bruce Smith, late of Fort Saskatchewan, formerly of Sooke, BC, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2013 at the age of 71 years. He is survived by his loving family; his wife of 49 years, Lyn; his 4 children, Lynda Lee (Ken) Radcliffe of Sooke, BC, Marvin Robert Bruce (Dorothy) Smith of Fort Saskatchewan, AB, Shauna Lyn (Larry) Smith of Fort Saskatchewan, AB, and Richard Bruce Smith of Wabamun, AB; 12 grandchildren, Kyndra, Zackary, Kyle, Emily, Drake, Tehya, Brayden, Rylin, Sheldon, Josh, Brandon, and Courtney; 1 sister, Betty Lou Boult; and 2 brothers, Keith Smith and Clifford Smith as well as numerous other family and many dear friends. Marvin is predeceased by his parents, Fredrick Arlander Smith and Gladys Maxine Smith (nee Jepson).
Family gathered together with Father Jim Corrigan for a Memorial Service on August 3, 2013. Memorial donations in Marvin’s name gratefully accepted to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, 101, 10642 - 178 Street NW, Edmonton, AB T5S 9Z9.
