It is with heavy hearts that we announce Shirlie's passing. A beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great grandmother and friend.
Shirlie Doreen Talbot born in Nakusp, BC, March 9, 1934 passed away peacefully April 2, 2019 with family by her side.
Shirlie is predeceased by her husband Tuck (2001) and daughter Gail (2010). She is lovingly remembered by her brother Arnold (Ellen), daughters Jo-Ann, Wendy (Rick), Dawn and Lynn (Marc), granddaughters Jaime (Brian), Emma (Jason) and Nicole, great grandchildren Brian and Jacob. Also, by her many friends in the Sooke community.
Shirley died as she lived, with strength, humour and by making new connections with everyone around her.
We invite family and friends to her Celebration of life, which will be held at Sooke Legion, Sunday, May 26, 1-3 pm
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sooke Salmon Enhancement Society or Sooke Regional Museum.
