Peter Pidwerbeski passed away suddenly a month shy of his 97th birthday.
Predeceased by his wife Flora, brothers Raymond and Roman, son Stewart and grandson Gregory. Peter is survived by his siblings: Alice, Olga, Dennis, Iris and Stella; his children: Glenn [Judy], Donald [Muriel], Joanne, Steve [Linda] and honorary daughter Christine; his grandchildren: John, Candice, Cass, Bliss, Michael, Raeside and Paisley; his great grandchildren: Austin-Jon, Tamara-Jane, Jakob, Cali, Sophia, Shyanne, Theodore, Quinton, McKoy, Jedrick and Axle-Cruz.
Peter and Flora met overseas during World War II and married there in December 1945 before returning to Canada together. In the early 1960s they settled in Sooke BC and were active in their community enterprises through the years and we're never too busy to lend a helping hand.
