May 27, 2018
Tena Atley (nee Ostrikoff), earned her transition on May 27, 2018, age 82 at the Priory in Victoria BC.

Predeceased by both parents, siblings and only son Mark C. Payer. She had an adventurous spirit - travelled extensively throughout the world. Spent many years working at the Royal Columbian Hospital and in other health fields.

Retreated to her trailer at  Harrison Hot Springs for 25 years to recharge her batteries, while working. Loved to ballroom dance - her flowers and gardens were her delight. Took on the challenges of three marriages. Constantly studied and searched for the truth.

Loved to play scrabble with her niece Katrina Ostrikoff on a regular basis, but had a hard time beating her and playing crib with great nephew Aaron Myales, was a constant joy.

Survived by grandchildren Natalie and Robbie, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Celebration of life will be held at the Sooke Legion on Friday, June 22 at 2:00 PM.
