Ted passed away peacefully in the evening at Sunset Lodge, Victoria BC. He is survived by his loving wife Kay, daughter Sandra (Ross), son Robert (Christina), son Gordon, daughter Pamela (Don), his grandchildren Kevin, Sean, Robert, Duana, Randi, Kaitlin, Nicholas, Karissa, Jesse, Bailey, Graham and his two great grandaughters Gracie & Taylor.
One of 11 children he was born in Brightstone, Manitoba to Ukrainian immigrants Michael and Lydia Chorney. He is survived by his siblings Marge, Natalie, Judy (Rudy), Tom (Sonya), and Bob.
The Celebration of Ted’s Life will be held at Sooke Legion Wednesday, April 27, 2:00 to 4:00. Tea, Coffee and refreshments will be served. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Sooke Legion Poppy Fund.
