April 21, 1942 - December 4, 2018
Dad passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Dad was a loving husband, father, grandfather/great-grandfather (Poppa) who adored spending time with all of his grandchildren.

A long time Sooke resident, Dad started working at the Sooke/Langford Forest Products in 1961 and he went on to work at the Tahsis Mill in 1990. Throughout the many years spent between Tahsis and Sooke he was a good friend to so many, and managed to touch each and every life he came in contact with. He took pleasure spending his retirement with his loving wife, Jeannie, working in their yard, enjoying their resident quail, going for walks, relishing their amazing views and also spending many mornings at A&W with his good friends.

Predeceased by his parents Doug & Dorothy Nichol, and brothers Doug, Teddy, and Mark Nichol. Dad will be dearly missed by his wife Jeannie, daughter Kristie (John), daughter Laurie (Russ), daughter Sherrie (Gary), son Don and 11 grandchildren and 5 great Grandchildren. Also, all his extended family and many cherished friends.

We would like to give a heartfelt Thank You to all the Doctors, Nurses and Sooke Hospice (Sooke Loan Cupboard) along with everyone else who cared for and supported Dad and our family through this hard time. Keith will be remembered as a kind, honest and hardworking man. We are all richer for having him in our lives.

Dad did not wish for a service, instead he wanted his family and closest friends to get together at his home, enjoy a drink, and share stories about his life. So please join us on Saturday December 15th from 1 pm to 3 pm at Keith and Jeannie's home to raise a glass in his honour and share our many happy memories of Dad.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request that you make a donation to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
