The family of Wanda Carlton, thank everyone for their support and kindness as we say goodbye to this beautiful lady.

Born Wanda Maureen to Russell and Marjorie Heathman in Victoria, BC. Wanda spent her early years in Sooke, and moved to Vanderhoof 21 years ago with her husband Wayne. She was active in community, loved archery, dancing, birding, yoga and walking. Wanda worked for the Vanderhoof School District in many capacities, most recently as an administrative assistant in the maintenance department and the Treasurer’s office.

Wanda was an active and loving grandmother who leaves behind her husband Wayne, two daughters Toni and Jodie, three grandchildren Aidan, Kira, and Haylee, her father Russell Heathman and her two siblings Rick Heathman and Gladys Engebretson.

Wanda’s family will miss her always and find strength in the kindness they have received from many people as they said goodbye. The outpouring of love and support from all over is a beautiful testament to the legacy that Wanda leaves behind.

She is loved by many and is missed by many.
