We really need to “pull our socks up” or we will lose the privilege of using all the wonderful trails that are available for us and our dogs. I am embarrassed on behalf of all the dog owners who must be turning their head elsewhere while their dogs relieve themselves.
The entrance to the Galloping Goose just off Cooper’s Cove on the waterside is littered with dog “gifts” even though there is a box of plastic bags attached to the pole approx. 10 yards away for everyone’s use, free of charge.
Sooke has an amazing number of dogs, and there is room for them all, but let’s stick together and be responsible dog owners.
