This clouded upcoming vote on our voting system needs scrutiny given obvious historical precedent.

Countries trying to get by on various systems of “proportional representation” are inevitably basket cases when it comes to trying to form stable governments. Italy a prime example. Greece another. More recently, Latvia, with a population of two million people had its national elections where 16 parties participated, and seven are now somehow going to have to participate to form a government. So, good luck,
