Since the Saanich chief administrative officer was fired without cause, is the answer a class-action suit against council on behalf of Saanich taxpayers to recover the severance package?

Since there were no performance, nor redundancy, grounds for termination, surely council cannot claim “good faith” for their actions, only personal whim or desire? We taxpayers should not be asked to subsidize that behaviour.
