LETTER: Dangerous turn-off needs a no turn sign

Weekly letters to the editor from within the Sooke community.

I am writing to inform you about a dangerous turn-off on Sooke Road at Manzer Road.

The situation could be made safer by posting a sign saying: No Passing On The Right.

More than one accident has happened due to vehicles passing – the one turning left and vehicles following not able to stop.

The car that did not stop, but just passed on the right is long gone before the other vehicle rear ends the turning vehicle.
