LETTER: Plenty of deer in Sooke Hills

Thank you for adding to evidence that Raincoast Conservation is looney in claiming that cougars are in danger of extinction because of lack of deer habita.

Your Feb. 6 issue quotes conservation officer Scott Norris as saying there is a “healthy population of cougars in the Sooke Hills.

(P.S. A good reason to carry a pistol in the woods).
