Thank you for nailing the control freaks of Sooke government for their oppression of the veterinarian caught in Sooke’s own botch of zoning changes.

Yes, I say oppression because of Sooke’s retroactive changing of zoning and callously not looking at honest activity existing then. That’s negligence and worse.

There’s an old Russian saying: “’The czar does not rule Russia, a thousand clerks do.” He did not have the decency to figure out what those clerks were doing and change them. In Sooke, Mayor Maja Tait and the hotshot new CAO don’t have either.
