Letters: Aopreciate Halloween efforts

East Sooke firefighters are patted on the back for their efforts

On behalf of the residents of East Sooke who attended the Halloween festivities at the fire hall, I would like to say a big thank you to our volunteer fire fighters.

They put on a great evening for the children (and adults) with hot dogs, hot chocolate, a candy line up and prizes for best costumes in age categories.

This was topped off with a fantastic fireworks display and roaring bonfire. It was greatly appreciated by all those in attendance.
