Letters: Dog deserves better

Treatment of dog upsets visitor to local Sooke park

My friend and I were at Macgregor Park in Sooke, on May 26 where we witnessed a women abusing her Australian Sheep dog. She was very aggressive.

My friend and I are over 60 and were shocked. We would like to write this note in your paper if possible.

We both saw you kick your dog four times, and when we tried to intervene you became hostile and verbally abusive. We tried calling the police, but were not able to contact them before you disappeared into the construction zone.

Please, give up your pet to the SPCA He deserves a better life.
