Letters: Forever grateful

Fundraiser for young child stricken with rare cancer appreciated

Thank you, thank you, and more thank yous to Fire Chief Donovan Ray and the Shirley community.

We appreciate the fundraiser you did this past weekend to help Hannah Day and we are stunned and overwhelmed by the results.

Your efforts will go a long way in helping to comfort Hannah and her family.

We are so proud to be a member of the Shirley Community and living with such giving and caring people.

To the people from outside of Shirley who also contributed our heartfelt thanks as well.

Don and Rosanne Day
