Letters: Kindness shown

A senior is shown some kindness and knows the next generation will be okay

I am an elderly woman and during the heavy snow, I heard a knock at our door and there stood Emily Percival-Paterson, a teenager who I had met once before.

She said she was going to the village to buy groceries and wondered if I needed anything. What a lovely girl. It’s so nice to  know that the next generation can be so thoughtful.
