To our mayor and council members:
I am a pensioner with memberships in the O.A.P. and the drop-in centre. As of June, we must vacate the firehall where we’ve been for 30 months, and no place to go.
It’s time we had a place of our own for all the seniors of Sooke.
Many seniors in Sooke like to play bingo and attend the lunches. It’s their only way to get together with friends and enjoy time out.
We are asking you to seriously consider helping us to get our own place. You could do this because as of june we will be homeless.
Do you really want this for our seniors who spend so many hours shut in?
