Phone service woes

As you have heard Port Renfrew has been without phone service again but, this time the town was supposed to have emergency phone service that CRD director Mike Hicks had installed at a price tag of $10,000.

Well, it does not work. The town has no way to call for help. As Port Renfrew’s past fire chief I wanted to have portable radios to be placed throughout the town for a price tag of $8,000 for calling for help.

I would have thought for the large price tag Mike’s phone services would have been tested.

Port Renfrew deserves better than this and needs the province to look into this as this an emergency.
