Yesterday, with the intent to feed some guests to lunch, I went shopping for some sushi as a supplement to the meal. I drove out at 10:30 a.m. and found that all three (known to me) sushi suppliers in Sooke were closed. OK, fair enough, one is known not to open until 11:30. It seems to me there might be a business opportunity here for a sushi maker to get out of bed early.
I adjusted the menu on the fly and bought the great Canadian staple – smoked salmon. So, sayonara sushi and benvenuto pizza.
