Kudos to Al Barr and the power of media.
Since the publishing of Mr. Barr’s video, Sooke District staff and the developer of View Pointe Estates have taken positive steps to suppress the dust caused by blasting at Broomhill.
Blasts appear to be smaller and the watering is controlling the dust problem.
Personally, I have experienced less eye irritation and far less sneezing.
A big thank you to everyone’s contribution to make this happen.
