In spite of the weather

Hikers brave Saturday’s weather

Eight hikers partake in the monthly Juan de Fuca Parks & Recreation Commission guided hikes.

You can never tell with Sooke weather. Despite pouring rain, eight intrepid hikers turned out for the first of the monthly hikes sponsored by the Juan de Fuca Parks & Recreation Commission guided by the Juan de Fuca Community Trails Society. The hikers were rewarded by brilliant sunshine, spring flowers, vivid mosses and panoramic views.
