Strong showing for Pilar and Leo Maekawa

Every athlete dreams of first place finishes but, realistically, measurable improvement is enough to hope for, and proof their hard work is paying off.

Wolverines face SMUS whirlwind

In terms of learning, there are no wasted experiences. For the EMCS Wolverines senior boys basketball team the game they hosted vs St. Michael’s University School last Thursday night was a demonstration of what its like to be dominated.

Character revealed in setback

The purpose of all competitive pursuits is straightforward – win. That said, there are rewards in being there... win or lose.

Boys jr. & sr. EMCS basketball updates

The EMCS junior boys basketball team started the season with home and away exhibition games vs Pacific Christian.  Both were sizeable losses as the Sooke boys worked out some wrinkles. Injuries, and changes in roster numbers forced the team to drop back down to the “B” league and out of the “A” league as had been the plan originally.
