“Sgt. Stride” returns

The 32-km Linear Walk/Run from Colwood to Sooke on May 7 was a non-competitive event, but these runners had their own times to run against and were among those first crossing the finish line in just over 2 1/2 hours. Pictured on left and right are Victorians Andrew and Greg. Many may recognize Roger (Former Sooke RCMP Staff Sergeant) and Angela Plamondon, second and third from left. Roger is now stationed in Ladysmith and Angela works in Courtenay.
