Charters River Salmon Interpretive Centre is great for viewing spawning salmon

The salmon have returned to spawn in  the rivers and creeks around Sooke. At Charters River, a viewing area has been built for those wishing to see the salmon as they make their way up river.

The Charters River Salmon Interpretive Centre is open five days a week for those who may wish to learn more about this valuable resource. It is located at 2895 Sooke River Road, before the Sooke Potholes.
